Rugiatu (Rugie) Jalloh came to Probable Futures from a background in strategic development and donor relations. In her work on climate change, Rugie is motivated by the opportunity to increase public understanding of a challenge that she believes touches every facet of life, from our social experiences to our physical spaces. 

As Donor Relations and Operations Specialist at Probable Futures, Rugie provides strategic insight on prospect and donor management and crafts compelling donor communications and grant materials. Rugie’s day-to-day work involves collaborating with the entire Probable Futures team to find the right funding to bring the organization’s vision to life. Using this collaborative approach and her background in strategic donor relations, Rugie helps the Probable Futures team identify promising partner and donor opportunities. 

Rugie holds a B.A. in International Studies from Spelman College. Rugie is based in Chicago, Illinois and is involved in volunteering throughout the city, as well as sitting on the board of the Parallel Foundation. In her free time, Rugie enjoys gardening, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants.
