Alison Smart is the executive director of Probable Futures, where she convenes leaders across science, design, technology, business, and culture, to develop climate change tools and resources. 

Alison is also a Senior Fellow for Communications at Woodwell Climate Research Center, and is an active member of the BMW Foundation’s Responsible Leaders Network. She was named on the Grist 50 list in 2023 as a fixer in Arts and Media. Alison’s voice and insights have been featured in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Climate Tribe, and the Urban Libraries Council and she has appeared on several podcasts, including My Climate Journey.

Alison earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts Management from the University of Miami (FL).
